Why Mystic Tan Works
The MysticTan tanning solution has 3 components: Bronzer, DHA and Aloe Vera.
The Bronzer is a water-soluble dye designed to produce a temporary tan. The brown bronzer will wash off in the shower or bath but will not effect your overall tan. The long-term DHA tan is permanent.
The DHA produces a long-term tan. When applied to the skin, DHA reacts with proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. It begins to darken 2 to 3 hours after tanning. It reaches it’s peak color within 24 hours. The DHA tan will begin to fade after 4 or 5 days, just like a tan from the sun. To maintain an optimal tan, you should tan every 4 or 5 days.
The Aloe Vera helps to carry the DHA deeper into the skin and promotes softer, smoother skin. The MysticTan tanning solution contains more than 65% stabilized Aloe Vera liquid. Aloe Vera is a natural moisturizer that helps the skin draw moisture into the surface. It softens the skin and helps smooth wrinkles.
